THE FINER
DETAILS
My Contractor Broker’s founder was someone we’d worked with before years ago, so when he got in touch again, we were excited to get stuck in.
This time he wanted a change to his logo. He knew it wasn’t doing his business justice and wanted it fixed properly.
We put together six logo concepts, two rounds of amends and one final design. Our client had one non-negotiable, though. One of those six concepts had to be a variation of his existing logo, as he didn’t want to lose the thread of his identity.
WHAT WE
PRODUCED

SIX LOGOS, EACH ONE STRONG ENOUGH TO STAND ALONE
We went bold here with strong fonts, striking iconography and a brand with real presence. A considered colour palette gave it range and depth, and the typography pulled everything together into something that felt confident and reliable.
NO HOUSES, ROOFS OR KEYS
Mortgage and contractor branding has a habit of reaching for the same visual shortcuts every time, and our client wanted something much more unique. We totally agreed.
So we found a different way in. Iconography that still said trust and industry credibility, just without the clichés. Six genuinely different concepts, not six versions of the same idea. Two rounds of amends later, we arrived on a final logo that feels fresh, sharp and unmistakably My Contractor Broker, with just enough of the old branding still in there to keep it familiar.
THE
OUTCOME

A PERFECT FIT: CHOOSING THEIR FINAL LOGO
The client was really happy with the logo concepts we shared, especially the wide variety of options on offer. They shortlisted a few standout designs before choosing the one that felt right… a strong, striking logo that truly reflected their business and their aspirations for the future.
You can see this branding brought to life across a full website rebuild, where we created something with genuine credibility but also a character that’s warm, engaging, and contemporary. Click here to find out more.
