Dining in Plain Sight needed a strategy as bold and original as the website we’d built for them. We kicked things off with a deep dive into their goals, and built a bespoke marketing plan designed to turn heads and sell out events… without actually selling tickets straight away. That plan included everything from organic and paid social to PPC, blogs, and email.
We developed everything from the ground up, including a clear mission and vision, defined brand messaging, rock-solid positioning, and audience personas. From there, the entire customer journey was mapped, and our team crafted a strategy that flipped the usual script. Instead of pushing ticket sales, we built anticipation. Everything revolved around one core idea: drive demand through FOMO.
The concept of an exclusive VIP Guest List (which is the only way to be first in line when new events drop) created a buzz and urgency. This means that there was a growing pool of eager fans before tickets even went live. The strategy rolled out across both organic and paid social (Facebook and Insta), targeted email campaigns, regular blog content, and on-brand communications at every touchpoint.
WHAT WE
PRODUCED
ORGANIC SOCIAL
We kept a rhythm of organic posts rolling out across Facebook and Instagram. Each one was designed to intrigue and build hype, always pointing back to the VIP Guest List and reinforcing the exclusivity of the amazing events.
PAID SOCIAL
Paid ads focused on driving sign-ups, and we targeted warm leads and, once tickets were available, we pivoted our strategy to drive sales. Really, this was more of an invitation than an advert.
PPC
We launched targeted search campaigns to capture intent-driven traffic. Using carefully selected keywords (from our in-house SEO experts) and punchy ad copy, we turned high-interest searches into Guest List sign-ups and kept the brand top of mind.
BLOGS
Short, story-led blog posts added depth to the brand and gave potential customers a taste of what to expect, and the confidence that Dining in Plain Sight has real authority in their sector.
MAILERS
Email was where we turned curiosity into clicks and commitment. Welcome notes and teaser updates helped every mailer nudge people closer to the next event. They were meticulously on-brand and engaging, but never pushy.
